I am in Love with my hometown Brighton
Lately, I feel I need to take time off, by that I mean take time of consuming information and media. I love social media I think it is brilliant invention and can do so much good in this world. But when we are flooded every day with so much information it becomes overwhelming and it could be just too much. That is how I feel lately just wishing to take some time and focus on creating offline, photography, makeup, drawing, and sewing are some of my favourites. Most of all learning to have the moments of calm, being in nature, going for a walk, and meditation is all part of my daily routine. Taking in the beautiful everyday moments and make the best of them. Even I try to look at anxiety as a friend that I can learn from and learn to take time and be at the moment. I am working on building my strength to get out more of the house to explore my wonderful hometown. And make some friends hopefully soon.
I have found the new city that I adore and love to call my home so much. Brighton, it is so wonderful here! I needed to find a place where I can take a deep breath and feel calm. After living in fast-paced London this is amazing change and so needed. I see lately people and companies, different businesses taking time off. They give themselves space and time to explore and are taking a step back from rushing and being in constant creation. Creation is an amazing gift and wonderful expression but when it is too much it could become opposite exhausting and no longer enjoyable. This Article on Man Repeller resonates a bit of what I mean.
I am taking one day at the time and making most of it. And lately really feeling the need to rest more and relax. Take time away from screens and media and be more in nature. Do you feel sometimes that all the information that we have access to could be too much?
Sending you lots of love. Hugs xx
Here are some of my current favourites in style. I love all the neutral tones and summery florals. See some inspiration here:
